OBJECTIVE and UNDERTAKINGS

The Non-Life Insurance Institute of Japan is a Public Interest Incorporated Foundation authorised by the Prime Minister. It was established on the 24th November 1933 and has been engaged in the following undertakings, with the objective of contributing to the development of the national economy and the improvement of the stability of the lives of citizens, through the sound development of non-life insurance business:

  1. Research and collection of materials concerning non-life insurance and its related business.
  2. Lectures, library maintenance and publications on non-life insurance and its related business.
  3. Contribution to activities that are aimed at improving and developing non-life insurance and its related business.
  4. Education and training concerning non-life insurance and its related business.
  5. All other undertakings considered necessary to achieve the objective of the Institute.
